The brief
Initiated in November 2019, this early commercial project was uniquely challenged by the onset of pandemic restrictions. The task involved an interior fit-out for a young couple transitioning from a spacious 3-bedroom residence to a more compact 70 m2, 2-bedroom apartment. The objective was to create an elegant modern design that harmoniously blended classic elements within a cool color palette, featuring natural and navy accents. The focus was on functionality and an open-plan living space, alongside a modern kitchen. An additional key aspect of this project was the implementation of a finish that exuded a high-end, luxurious feel, while remaining cost-effective. The design needed to strike a balance between upscale aesthetics and practical affordability, ensuring a lavish look without incurring extravagant expenses. This approach was critical in meeting the clients' desire for a stylish yet budget-friendly living space.

Meeting the brief
In response to the clients' brief, a professional couple seeking to enhance their apartment's functionality for remote work and daily living, I executed a strategic redesign. Originally a two-bedroom space, it was transformed to include a spacious walk-in closet, aligning with the couple's specifications. I also crafted a versatile workspace in the former guest room, perfect for remote work yet adaptable for future use as a child's room. Additionally, I converted a toilet into a practical laundry and storage area, further maximizing the apartment's utility and comfort.
