The brief
A young couple approached me to design the master bathroom of a villa they inherited from their parents. They envisioned an elegant, retro space with floral motifs, bold colors, and refined gold accents.

The main challenge was the bathroom’s size and height, so we carefully preserved the original dimensions while incorporating a freestanding bathtub and a grid-framed shower - both essential to fulfilling the owners’ vision.

Meeting the brief
During my discussions with the investors, we concluded that the original vanity, featuring a stunning granite countertop, would be preserved to maintain its beauty. Instead of replacing it, the entire vanity would be renovated - repainted in a new color, fitted with new doors and floating cabinet sections to expand storage space, while keeping the exquisite stone surface intact. A herringbone pattern on the floor, black accents, and brushed gold details add a touch of elegance.
